The MVR-D Suzuki Team regret to announce Carl Nunn's withdrawal from the final round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship and the forthcoming Motocross of Nations event, after sustaining a fractured left Fibula in a first race crash at the ACU British MMX Championship, held at Culham in Oxfordshire yesterday.
Nunn, who has enjoyed a fantastic season of racing, winning the Red Bull Pro National Championship only last weekend, suffered a crash in the opening laps of the race as he was pushing hard and gaining from a strong third place start.
Team manager, Mark Chamberlain: "Carl is bitterly disappointed that his season has ended this way. He was really looking forward to representing his country at the Nations event and doing a good job. The main focus now is to make sure the injury is treated in the correct manner, while getting back to training as soon as possible."
