Expanding Company Divulges its Secrets to Defying the Recession

Turbo Dynamics is a company that has not been affected by the recession. Having seen increased profit, taken on more employees and acquired new premises all in 2009 it is apparent the company, which is run by Peter Marsh, is doing something right. Now, in support of the local community, Turbo Dynamics has revealed some of its secrets to defying the recession.

1.       The company has expanded the services it offers; adding ceramic coating to the vast range it had before: design of hybrid turbos, blueprinting, precision grinding and honing, balancing and much, much more.

2.       It has added to its product range by becoming the second UK-based Master Distributor of Turbosmart products (one of the world’s leading performance accessories manufacturers). And not stopping there, Turbo Dynamics has become a Silkolene Distributor. - Through selling Silkolene products Turbo Dynamics now offers not only race specification oils for performance cars and bikes, but everyday consumables used by all drivers/bike-riders such as brake fluids, additives and treatments. Furthermore, the company is selling the popular product range at credit crunch-defying prices.

3.       On top of this, Turbo Dynamics has being looking at what can be done in-house and has now employed a Customer Services Team Leader. The successful applicant, Laura, has been tasked with ensuring the company’s customers - who span the globe - are happy and well looked after at all times.

4.       Due to the growing number of jobs being placed with Turbo Dynamics, more turbocharger engineers have been trained and their skill sets widened. This is to ensure that turnaround times remain fast and reliable, whilst the work taking place continues to meet the stringent ISO quality standards that are imposed on the company in order for its continued ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. As a result, customers are given the peace of mind that they will be receiving the best of both worlds: quick turnaround times and excellent workmanship of a guaranteed quality standard.

5.       Another attribute that has seen Turbo Dynamics continue to grow is its forward-thinking. The company is always planning ahead and aims to stay one step ahead of the game, often investing in new ideas and products, and embracing change. This aspect of the company can be seen throughout: the company boasts the latest phone system where phone calls can be made and answered from computers, and a new, dedicated Server Room, which boasts its own air conditioning and enhanced security.

6.       Likewise, the company applies its forward-thinking to marketing and presently has a number of innovative ideas up-its-sleeves for 2010.

This year has seen the company’s support of popular events such as Rallye Sunseeker, which takes place in Bournemouth, and the Time Attack Series - despite the recession. On top of this, TD has had a presence at trade shows like Seawork International, which took place in June. The TD team has also been busy behind-the-scenes working on a new e-commerce section for the website.

7.       Finally, Turbo Dynamics remains keen to be environmentally friendly, embracing green changes that can help to protect the environment. These changes have included the company revising the production of Turbo Dynamics carrier bags so they are all bio-degradable and made from recyclable materials. The company has also reduced the number of bags used.

Turbo Dynamics’ standard application turbochargers are also environmentally friendly; reducing the amount of fuel used and making it more efficient, not to mention saving users a penny or two at the garage!

So with all this forward thinking and the Charles Darwin mindset of adapting to change, you can be certain that Turbo Dynamics will be coming out the other side of the recession a stronger, bigger and better company than ever before.
