SWINDON skipper Leigh Adams warmed up for the Elite League Grand Final with his first win in the Elite League Riders' Championship.Adams qualified for the final with 12-points and then beat Coventry's Chris Harris, Poole star Chris Holder and Wolverhampton's Freddie Lindgren in the final.He said: "That's my first one and I'm pretty pumped about that. I've had afew opportunities to win it before and it has never happened."

COVENTRY skipper Chris Harris reckons he is in the best form of the season -with only a few weeks left! Harris finished runner-up on his home track Coventry in the Elite League Riders' Championship.He said: "I feel the last few weeks have gone a lot better and I just wish I'd started the season the same way! It was good for me to finish on the rostrum in a big event like this."
