GT Sport Confirms Venue And Date (6-8 November)

GT Sport announced today that the eighth round of the 2009 International GT Open, whichreplaces the round initially foreseen in the Valencia Street Circuit, will take place in theAutódromo do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal, on 6-8 November, one week after the round inBarcelona. The event will be combined with the last round of the Iber GT Championship.

Although the International GT Open has already visited the Algarve this year, Portimão wasconsidered the best choice among all options taken into consideration because of thequality of the track and its venue, which were highly appreciated by everybody earlier inMay, and the mild weather we can expect there in November.

With no doubt, the choice of Portimão will ensure a perfect closing to the 2009 season ofthe International GT Open.
