Carrera Cup Champ Glynn Geddie statement

This season has been an incredible journey - the lows have been tough, but the highs, including becoming 2009 Pro-Am 1 Champion, outweigh all of that.A lot of the credit appears to go to the person who's behind the wheel and, although I've definitely worked harder than ever throughout this year, there are people behind the scenes that have worked with me and each other to achieve what we have. These people all deserve mentioning, and so I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone at Team Parker Racing who prepared a fantastic car which enabled me to win the championship. Also, my mentor, Barry Horne, and of course my personal sponsors, Apex Tubulars, Bishopston Enterprises Ltd, Motorwerks Performance Centre, and A R Beattie Construction Services Ltd.The personal level of support I have received from friends and family, throughout this season and also my career to date, has been invaluable and I can't thank you all enough.

I especially have to thank my Dad, Jim, who has sacrificed his own racing this season to support me at my race weekends. Now that the Porsche Carrera Cup season is over, he can focus on his racing and is set to compete in two GT Cup races and a Britcar race before the year is out, and I wish him all the best.Once again, thank you to everyone who made this season possible. I'm already looking forward to the challenges - and successes - that we face together next season and beyond.
