Round 13: Pete Fear, Pinford – Ross and District MC, 11 October
Duncan Stephens gradually opened up a clear lead to cruise to winning the Pete Fear Pinford Sporting trial on Sunday from Thomas Bricknell who finished more than double Stephens’ score. Bricknell drove steadily all day with autotest champion Alastair Moffatt passengering.
John Fack completed the podium ahead of MSA championship leader Ian Wright who made a costly mistake three sections from the end. Andy Wilks excelled to win the intermediate class from Jerome Fack, beating multi event winner Roger Bricknell. Tom Rees won the novice class from Larry Carroll despite a badly running engine.
