LEICESTER'S representative team secured a 45-45 draw in the final meeting ofthe season at Sheffield.Sergey Darkin and Lee Complin took a last-race maximum for the Lions, who intend to apply for Premier League membership next season.Owner David Hemsley said: "We were delighted with the event, especially the finish and our thanks to Sheffield for putting it all together. It's all about raising awareness for our return."

BEN Barker is on his way back to Stoke for their prestigious Pride of thePotteries individual event on October 24.The Coventry star was a firm favourite at Loomer Road and finished top of the Stoke averages last season.Stoke promoter Dave Tattum said: "Ben has always been a delight to work with and I know the supporters will be looking forward to his return to LoomerRoad."
