Rounds 5 & 6 Straits Mill, Braintree 26th & 27th September

The final two rounds of the Championship proved to be very exciting stuff indeed, with the top three places going down to the wire. Top honours went to last years Champion Michael Henderson, with Petroc Frey a close second and David Ward an extremely close third.Because of the very dry conditions, dust was a problem, so mostly the cars ran singularly, but this didn’t stop some very fast times being posted. Melanie Stiles in Class B1 had a very good weekend with a 3rd in class on Saturday and a superb 2nd in class on Sunday; she also took the Ladies’ title.Championship Results
