2009 British Superbike Season Review DVD set out now

 plus Whitham's Motorbike Workshop DVD

The only good thing about the British Superbike Championship being over is the release of the annual season review on DVD by Odeon Entertainment. This year, fans have even more to enjoy through the winter. In addition to the double DVD review, featuring more than seven hours of thrilling race action, there's another double DVD with four hours of behind the scenes footage. British Superbike 2009 Championship Review and British Superbike ¬- Behind the Scenes 2009 are available separately or together in a luxury fabric wallet as the British Superbike Collectors Edition - 2009.

And as if nine hours of Superbike thrills, spills and excitement is not enough, Odeon Entertainment has also released the first Whitham's Motorbike Workshop DVD. Ex-British Superbike champion, James Whitham, builds on his popular 'How to' regular column in T.W.O. magazine to present Haynes manual type DIY servicing in a 21st century format.

The 2009 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship provided the usual wheel- to-wheel race action over 12 rounds that fans have come to expect. Nearly 40 riders contested the series and represented a mix of old hands and newcomers. By mid-season, 23-year-old Leon Camier had established a healthy lead in the championship with ten wins to his credit. If Camier began to look unbeatable, the battle for the lower places was as fierce as ever. After halfway, more wins stretched Camier's lead and he rightly secured the championship. He was not the only rider to take the top spot on the podium though and second placed James Ellison and third position Stuart Easton also reached the chequered flag first on more than one occasion.

On track excitement is only half the British Superbike story. Much goes on behind the scenes and James Whitham was on hand at every race to record the drama and high jinx. British Superbike - Behind the Scenes 2009 captures the best of all those moments.

An essential purchase for the British Superbike barren festive season, the 2009 British Superbike Championship Review two-DVD set costs just £19.99and British Superbike - Behind the Scenes 2009 is just £14.99. Odeon Entertainment has also packaged both sets into a four-DVD British Superbike Collectors Edition - 2009 with a unique BSB zipper wallet at a value for money gift price of £29.99

Whether you own a scooter or a superbike, Witham's Motorbike Workshop DVD will make DIY servicing easy. Who better than racer turned commentator and writer, James Whitham to present concise, step-by-step instructions about everything from checking tyres pressures to changing brakes? Whitham also offers handy hints for saving money. The 90-minute DVD costs just £12.99 and is due out November 2nd.
