PETER Oakes is on his way back to Peterborough as the club's new Director of Speedway.Oakes will leave his position as Coventry's team manager to work alongside Panthers chiefs Rick Frost and Trevor Swales.He said: "It's an exciting challenge for me and one I am really looking forward to, we spent hours talking over ideas and we want to improve things for the benefit of Peterborough and its supporters."

EDINBURGH co-promoter John Campbell is hoping to have his 2010 team in place by the end of this month.Campbell revealed the news at the club's awards evening when it was also confirmed that Scotwaste will back the club once again.Said Campbell: "We have been very busy racing right up until the end of the season and we will now move on with building next year's team."
