Oliver Jarvis makes successful sportscar debutAsian Le Mans Series: Oliver Jarvis made a successful sportscar debut: At the wheel of the privately run team Kolles Audi R10 TDI the Audi ‘factory’ driver finished fourth and fifth together with Christian Bakkerud in the inaugural running of the Asian Le Mans Series at Okayama (Japan). In his first sportscar race on Saturday Jarvis even mounted the podium. However, Jarvis/Bakkerud subsequently lost third place due to a time penalty. Another podium for the Audi R8 LMSVLN: Team Phoenix Racing recorded another podium result with the Audi R8 LMS at the final round of the BFGoodrich endurance championship at the Nürburgring. Marc Basseng, Frank Biela and Frank Stippler finished third in front of the sister car of Hans-Joachim Stuck, Johannes Stuck and Dennis Rostek which had fallen well down the field following a spin in the opening stages.
