RYE House have unveiled their line-up for the Cobras National League campaign. The Hoddesdon club have added Lee Strudwick and Shane Hazelden to the side to ride alongside Jamie Smith, Kyle Hughes, David Mason,Ben Morley, and Marc Owen.A club statement read: "The new-look squad reflects a changing approach by Rye House to the National League."In previous seasons, the single aim of the Rye management to this competition has been to use the league facility as a training ground for future Rockets' riders."To this end the costs have been kept to an absolute minimum, keeping the charges for the public as low as possible. But after two seasons at the bottom of the league table and only one possible future Rocket to show, a change of direction has been seen as necessary."

GLASGOW have finalised their 2010 Premier League team with the signing of Jamie Courtney on loan from King's Lynn.Courtney is the son of former Tigers hero Mark and his uncle Sean and brother Scott have also raced for the club.Glasgow co-promoter Alan Dick said: "We looked at a lot of differing options for our final spot and of course Jamie was very much in our thoughts at an early stage, along with many others, and we decided that from a pure talent point of view he would certainly feature strongly in the mix, but the big question was to understand why his career had not taken off so far."We spoke at length to Jamie and to his family to get an understanding as to why that has been the case and also why it would be different with Glasgow. While there are no guarantees, we do have an instinct that this could be a pivotal year in his development and his progress, and after looking at all the options we have decided to give him the chance to ply his trade with the Tigers."The most important thing to remember is that he does have a lot of natural talent and we have seen a lot of him over the years. He has ridden in Premier League fixtures before and I can certainly remember him having a small spell at Workington where he really did look the part and I would like to think that he can make a go of things with us in 2010."
