RYE House have been given permission to switch the World Under-21 Cup Finalto Sunday, September 5.The FIM have sanctioned the move suggested by Rockets chief Len Silver whohas praised the efforts of Graham Reeve from the Speedway Control Bureau.He said: "This will enable travellers from far afield to make the journeywith ease of mind, and I have no doubt that another bumper attendance is assured."Also, the official practice will be on the Saturday to give more time forthe vital track preparation work to take place prior to the main Sundayevent."

LEICESTER co-boss Sam Ermolenko has revealed the Lions will race in achallenge match at Rye House on March 20.  Ermolenko and colleague David Hemsley have moved to assure fans they are still confident the new track will be built in the city.He said: "I had communication from Len Silver at Rye House offering to stagea meeting against us and we will be putting a team together to go there."We're not where we wanted to be with the new track right now but we're still progressing and building towards the moment when the sport comes backto Leicester on a permanent basis."

RYE House boss Len Silver is predicting a packed house for the Ben FundBonanza meeting on March 14.World Champion Jason Crump is in line to ride at the Hoddesdon event,raising vital cash for the Speedway Riders' Benevolent Fund.Said Silver: "The field is already the strongest line up ever seen at Hoddesdon and with the charitable nature of the event I do not anticipate anything other than a full house."Our additional seating at both ends of the stadium will prove to be highly popular and the extra capacity will help to ensure that the Benevolent Fundwill be boosted by a magnificent sum."

DANIEL King is backing former Great Britain skipper Scott Nicholls to be back to his best next season.Nicholls will line-up alongside King at Ipswich after enjoying a good spellwith the club in the second half of last year.

Said King: "Scott had a very bad season last year. I felt pretty sorry for him. But when he came back to Ipswich, he changed completely as a rider. Hewas absolutely unbelievable to watch."Obviously, the GP was a big sore point for him, but I know he got back onform with his league racing and he was back on form in Sweden. "I know he's going to be back to normal for next year and he may well be first pick for the (GB) team."
