(SPEEDWAY 1)LEE Richardson is the latest big name to confirm his appearance in Somerset's 10th anniversary celebration meeting.Richardson is without a British club to start the season but will appear at the Oak Tree Arena on Friday, March 19.Rebels promoter Debbie Hancock said: "We are delighted to have Lee on board, it's a real coup for the club."And if things all go to plan, then Lee could be joined by another four riders who will not be riding for a British club this year, so their appearance in our meeting could well be one of the few opportunities to see these riders competing in the UK."(SPEEDWAY 2)JAMES Brundle is on his way back to King's Lynn after missing the 2009 season.Brundle has been unveiled as the top rider in the Norfolk club's National League team. He's joined by Darren Mallett, Jamie Courtney, Alex Davies, Scott Campos, Adam Lowe and Chris Widman.Said Brundle: "I basically had to have a year out to get my life together, during that time I was also part of Troy Batchelor's pit team, he has been riding brilliantly in the Elite League and that in all honesty has given me the desire and determination to resume my career."(SPEEDWAY 3)SCUNTHORPE have signed former Moto-X rider Ashley Birks for a reserve spot in their National League team.Birks, 20, saw a nasty injury end his Moto-X career and he turned to Speedway after a conversation with British Grand Prix star Tai Woffinden.He said: "I broke a metatarsal, fractured my left leg and did my ligaments in the top and bottom of my foot and the ligaments in my lower leg. It was nasty and took ages to repair."Afterwards I couldn't do the jumps because my legs were hurting so Tai Woffinden suggested I get a speedway bike, dedicate yourself and see how it goes."
