HOMETOWN hero Scott Nicholls has given the reshaped Ipswich track his sealof approval.Nicholls is back with the Witches after rejoining the club mid-way throughlast season following a spell with parent club Coventry.He said: "The newly shaped track is excellent and I'm confident it willprovide better and more entertaining racing. A lot of hard work has goneinto it and it's up to us as riders to make the most of it!"

KEVIN Wolbert has declared himself fit for Edinburgh's Spring Trophy crasheswith Glasgow over the weekend.Wolbert crashed heavily in last Friday's Scottish Open but will take hisplace at Armadale on Friday with the return at Ashfield on Sunday.Monarchs co-promoter John Campbell said: "Kevin crashed heavily twice,though he did complete the meeting."He admitted to feeling bad over the weekend, but by Monday was fitter andready for the matches ahead."
