(SPEEDWAY 1)WOLVERHAMPTON star Freddie Lindgren is hitting top form just a week before the opening Grand Prix of the season.Lindgren notched 16+1 in the 51-45 Elite League defeat at Swindon including maximum points from a tactical ride.Said Lindgren: "It's nice to get something from the meeting although we would have preferred a win, of course. I enjoyed it and I think this team has the potential to get better as the season progresses."(SPEEDWAY 2)BIRMINGHAM'S remarkable start to the season continued with a 52-41 win at Sheffield on Thursday.Talented reserve Justin Sedgmen notched 13+3 and Steve Johnston, who is now a full Birmingham asset, was superb for his 13-points in the Premier Trophy tie.Brummies boss Graham Drury said: "Sheffield is a really tough place to get a result so full credit to the lads, I'm highly delighted. We need to keep it going."
