Daisuke Nakajima was in dominant form on the new Silverstone “Arena circuit”

Daisuke Nakajima was in dominant form in testing  (Wednesday) on the new Silverstone “Arena circuit”, lapping the new Grand Prix  track - which is set to get its race debut from the Cooper Tires British Formula 3 International Championship next weekend (1/2 May) - a tenth quicker than his nearest rival, championship leader Jean-Eric Vergne.

Nakajima hopes to build on previous Silverstone form: he was second at Silverstone in 2009 having secured Pole position in qualifying. Following an encouraging opening weekend at Oulton Park Daisuke is looking forward to a strong weekend at Silverstone.   Team mates Carlos Huertas and Felipe Nasr worked through differing programmes and whilst not showing raw pace were content with a good day’s work.
