This week-end Ludwig Ghidi started the second event of the championship in the Czech Republic with good results in the free practises, with the two quickest lap times.
Unfortunatelly qualifying was marked by red and yellow flags which landed Ludwig Ghidi in troubles he ended the session in seventh position.
After making a bad start in the first race due to an overheating engine, Ludwig went down to nineth position. In the second lap he overtook Rogier de Wit (NL) and managed to come back in the rear of Negrao’s car. For the rest of the race he fought hard battles with Eisenreich (D). He finished in fifth positon thanks to withdrawal of Bacheta (UK) and Kout (CZ) who crashed out.
He started from sixth position in the second race, and managed to overtake Eisenreich (D) on the first lap but was passed in the same time by Negrao. One lap later he paid Negrao back in his own coin by overtaking him in the first corner. Then the young belgian driver came back on Kout’s car. Finally he ended up in fourth position thank again to the withdrawal of Bacheta. By finishing in this place he demonstrated once again his talent by fighting against drivers who have more experience.
So after a good weekend in Brno which permitted to increase the gap with other competitors in the championship standing, Keo racing and Ludwig are now preparing themselves for Zandvoort.
Ludwig would like to thank his all the team for their wonderful job and the sponsors for their support.
