SOMERSET have signed 24-year-old Czech Republic star Lubos Tomicek to replace Steve Boxall.Tomicek returns to British racing after a brief spell with Belle Vue lastyear which was ended by injury, and he will make his debut in the home clash with Workington on May 7.The Rebels still need to sign another rider to fill the gap created by Brent Werner's departure earlier this week, and will make a further announcementin the coming days.Promoter Debbie Hancock said: "I would like to say how easy it was to put together the deal with Lubos, and he is very happy to have been asked to ride for Somerset. "Jon Cook from Lakeside, who owns Lubos's contract, was very helpful with this signing and said that Lubos was probably one of the easiest lads to get along with in speedway. As a promoter that's just what you need."
