Following the announcement by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, the governing body of the Le Mans 24 Hour race, Peugeot has confirmed it will enter its 908 HDi FAP cars into the 1,000 km of Silverstone, in September.

Last year at Le Mans, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest confirmed its intention to bring together the various Le Mans series endurance races, by creating a competition reserved for entrants in the top endurance class, LMP1.

The Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) will feature three races on three continents:

■September 10-12   1,000 km of Silverstone (Great Britain) ■September 29 – October 2  13th Annual Petit Le Mans (USA)  ■November  t.b.c (China) 

The Peugeot driver line ups for the 908 HDi FAPs competing in the ILMC will be announced at a later date.
