Facu Regalia ready for Formula BMW challenge

Facu Regalia is ready for the start of the season  next weekend at Circuit de Catalunya, and is looking forward to good results at Montmeló.

The Spanish-Argentinean is counting-down the time to the first Formula BMW Europe race of the year that will be part of the Spanish Grand Prix program. Just before his trip to Barcelona the Eifelland Racing driver said: “I’m taking care of the last details and I’m looking forward to be in the car. I’ve been training in the last few days, so I can arrive at the track in good shape, physically and mentally”. For this year, his goals are: “race to race and I don’t want to put pressure on my shoulders to get results. I still need to improve the relationship with the team, as this will be the first time that we will be in a race weekend together, and it’s natural that our rapport will evolve along the season”.

After a hard pre-season, with some days lost because of the weather or mechanical faults the eighteen years old is anxious to understand how the forces balance next weekend: “I barely can wait to be on the track and see where we are, something that we will begin understand in the first practice, but it will be the qualification that will give us the clear picture”.

Last, but not least, Facu Regalia wants to thank “to all my family, but, mainly, to my parents for their support and for let me keep racing in a such important championship as the Formula BMW Europe. Without them, I couldn’t be where I am”.

The Formula BMW Europe program will start next Friday with the practice, the qualifying will be in the same day. The races will have thirteen laps and the first will be held Saturday and the second Sunday.
