PETERBOROUGH will be forced into a change ahead of the first leg of their play-off semi-final against Coventry.Polish reserve Norbert Kosciuch is suffering from an eye injury and willmiss the trip to Brandon, with the Panthers set to bring in a guest rider.Manager Trevor Swales said: "We had a text from Norbi's manager telling us about the injury.

"We know he didn't ride in Hungary (on Sunday) even though he was named in the Poznan team and we are not sure if he will have recovered in time for Friday night's Knock Out Cup quarter final against Swindon.

"Opponents Coventry have been boosted by the news that Przemyslaw Pawlickihas been declared fit to race after an arm injury, but boss Alun Rossiter is refusing to set any targets for the first leg. He said:

"We'll be going for every point possible. We know whatever happens it's only halfway and we can get round their track too, but we just want as many points as we can, and hopefully the supporters can re-create the same kind of atmosphere as Thursday because that really helped us."

WOLVERHAMPTON boss Peter Adams says his side will relish the challenge offacing league leaders Poole in the play-offs.The Pirates elected to take on the reigning champions at the semi-finalstage, and Adams knows his side will need to maintain their superb home formin the first leg.He said: "We're going to need a handy lead to take to their place next weekbut the boys are in a good frame of mind going into this meeting."And the fact that Poole changed their minds so late in the day shows theyhave doubts in their own minds over whether they can even get to the final."Poole promoter Matt Ford says his side can take the positives from recentresults, even though their big lead at the top of the table now counts fornothing.Ford said: "The word on the street is that the side is looking a littlejaded of late, but when you look at the form guide then our last six awaymatches have seen us win twice and lose by six, four, ten and eleven. Letsbe honest, a result within that sort of region wouldn't be a disaster."
