EDINBURGH co-promoter John Campbell says the club's top priority is to complete a League and Knockout Cup double. The Monarchs will be presented with the Premier League trophy prior to Friday's Cup semi-final clash with Workington, and Campbell is urging supporters to back their bid for more silverware.Campbell said:"In my mind there is nothing more important than the match against Workington on Friday. I'm really keen that we win the Knock Out Cup this year. "Our record in the competition is not great and we have to go way back to1999 since we last won it. That's surprising as the best years in the Club's history have been the last seven."The riders were telling me how wonderful it was when the 'wall of sound'hit them as they passed the fourth bend enclosure at Glasgow last week, and I'm sure we can get the same kind of atmosphere on Friday."

WORKINGTON will be able to track a full team for their Knockout Cup semi-final against Edinburgh this weekend with their injured riders fit to return.Danish star Peter Kildemand is back from a broken hand, and Richard Lawson's shoulder is much improved - and the Comets will also hand a debut to recent signing Casper Wortmann.Team boss Ian Thomas said: "Peter has been riding in Denmark and of course he helped his home country win the World Team Cup for Under-21's at Rye House. Getting him back, fit and firing, is a big boost to our chances."I spoke to Richard earlier in the week and he's feeling 100% better than he was two weeks ago when he struggled to complete the home meeting with Berwick. His shoulder is a lot better and stronger and he's looking to score well."

"Jason could well miss the remainder of the season so you can guess how annoyed he is with himself."

JAY Herne is on his way back to National League play-off hopefuls Bournemouth - after a proposed move to Rye House fell through.Herne had been wanted by the Premier League club to replace Robbie Kessler, but the move came after the closing date for new signings in that league. He now rejoins the Buccaneers after missing most of the season through injury, in place of the sidelined Jerran Hart, with Richie Worrall replacing Aaron Baseby lower down the order.Assistant manager Neil Vatcher said: "I saw Jay at Weymouth last Friday and he looks in great shape. Considering the injuries that he suffered that is good news in itself, but Jay is keen to get back on track and earning, and the way to do that is to score points of course. "He will be in for our double header on Sunday, against King's Lynn and Rye House and that will be a great opportunity to really ride himself back to form. I think he will be so key to the cause in the play-offs."
