Round 7: Robin Alexander Trial, September 18MSA British Sporting Trial Championship leader Ian Wright won the Robin Alexander Trial for the first time last weekend. Reigning Champion Duncan Stephens held the early advantage but a few small mistakes allowed Wright to gain a lead that he gradually extended until sealing the win.Peter Fensom drove steadily to beat the landowner Roland Uglow into third place by just two points. Roland Uglow finished a distant second overall ahead of Monty Peters.Simon Kingsley made up for his retirement the previous day by finishing fourth ahead of Mike Readings, who was testing new pattern tyres.
