Day & Night Race

Following the hugely popular inaugural round of the new GT Trophy series Bute Motorsport, organisers of the GT Cup Championship, are looking forward to their second event aimed at longer distance racers.

·   One hour day race & one hour night race

·   Wide variety of genuine GT cars eligible including GT3 and above (including those not allowed in GT Cup Championship)

·   Twenty minute free practice, thirty minute qualifying & thirty minutes night practice

·   Drivers of all abilities allowed including professional

·   Twin or single driver entries

·   Compulsory pit stop of minimum 90 seconds

·   Testing arranged on Friday

·   Innovative handicap system to equalise cars and driver combinations within their race group based on extra pit stop time

·   Full hospitality all day in the superb Bute Motorsport Race Centre

·   Pirelli sole tyre supplier

GT Trophy 2011 Season

Six events are being organised for 2011 at the UK and Europe’s premier circuits.  All race lengths will be around two hours duration and most will be a twin race format.  Further details are expected by the end of November
