Citroën Racing Trophy

The first Citroën Racing Trophy winners take centre stage

In Great Britain, Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania, the 2010 Citroën Racing Trophy series have drawn to a close.

In Britain, Robert Barrable held his nerve to walk away with the honours twice. Having won the British trophy comfortably, he had to wait until the final day of the final rally in the Irish season to get the upper hand over Martin McCormack and claim a second title.

In Europe, Michal Bebenek (Poland) and Jan Cerny (Czech Republic) also won their national Citroën Racing Trophy series. Bebenek stamped his authority on the Polish championship by winning seven of the eight rallies. Cerny was beaten on the final round of the season, but he had already wrapped up the Czech title.

At the same time, the European Citroën DS3 R3 programme continues. Having impressed on asphalt, Citroën Racing’s new baby has now also won its first event on gravel.
