GT Trophy goes International at Snetterton on October 30th

Bute Motorsport are delighted to announce that Brazilian driver Adriano Medeiros will be bringing an international flavour to the second round of The GT Trophy at Snetterton on October 30th . The Brazilian Sky Channel 801 are sending a TV crew to follow the action.

Adriano had a Group Two win at the Brands Hatch Round of The GT Trophy and he is re-united with Chris Bentley in the CTR AlfaTune Porsche 996 GT3 Cup car for the two one hour races at Snetterton. This exciting new Series will have a one hour race in daylight and a second one hour race run in the dark. This will be great challenge for teams and drivers.

Adriano started racing in Brazil in 1998 driving in Super-Stock events. Then in 2000 he met F1 stars  Emerson Fittipaldi and Alex Reibero looking for some help and advice about racing abroad. He also discovered that they not only shared his love of motor racing but also his Christian faith. In 2003 he came to UK and worked as an instructor for Palmersport and by 2006 he was  racing in FF1600. Since then he raced in Britcar and The Radical Cup. This season has seen him out in the SPEED sports prototype endurance races.

After their Group win on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix Circuit in May the team will start as favourites for a repeat visit to the podium.
