(SPEEDWAY 2)PROSPECTIVE Bristol promoter Andy Hewlett says there has been a positive response from fans as he attempts to resolve a potential issue with his planning application.Hewlett's bid to bring the sport to Avonmouth has hit a stumbling block due to bird flights in the vicinity, and he will be holding a public meeting at the Filton Sports Centre from 8pm on Saturday November 13.He said: "Since I went public over my concerns about the possible attitude of Natural England over what they conjecture is the impact on the flight of any birds up the Severn Estuary, I have had very positive feedback from speedway promoters and fans throughout the UK pointing out the proximity of tracks to bird reserves. "Some supporters have taken it upon themselves to contact Natural England directly, and whilst I am grateful for their interest it will be better to have one co-ordinated response so that those of us handling the planning application are totally in the picture as to what is being discussed."
