Hispania Racing driver Bruno is aiming to deliver a strong performance in Abu Dhabi this weekend as the curtain falls on an enthralling Formula One season.
The Brazilian star, who was the first driver to test the Yas Marina circuit in 2009, will on Sunday complete his first season in F1 and he is hungry for more.
"I was the first one to drive a race car on the Abu Dhabi track last year and cant wait to return this weekend in an F1 car. It’s a new track but already a favourite on the calendar.
There is a nice mix of corners - some fast corners with the ones around the marina off-camber. The first complex of corners - turns one, two and three - are really nice, fast sweeps. It’s very cool - they are blind corners and the exit of turn three is downhill. It also has of course a very long straight, the longest in F1 at 1.2km with a first-gear corner going onto it and at the end of it.
It will be a challenging race but after some good performances from the team over the last few races, we’re confident of finishing the season on a high.
This year has been a fantastic learning process for me and I feel over the last few races especially that I’ve found a good level of consistency with the car. My aim is to build on this going into 2011."
