Davide Valsecchi ended his 2010 GP2 Main Series season on an high note at Abu Dhabi, as he cruised to win on Race 2 at the Yas Marina track.

Davide made an outstanding start, and cruised to the lead by the first corner. For the whole 22-lap distance, he managed to keep the pace despite the constant pressure of his main rivals.

“I'm really satisfied for today's victory – said Davide – because it was really important for me to end this tough and long season season in the best possible way. The start has been the key, because I moved very quickly and found a great inside line at T1 to take the lead. It hasn't been easy though, because the car performance faded slightly, but I couldnt deal with that. I the closing stages, everything went back to normal, and the final few laps have been relatively calm. I want to thank the team for their great work. It's been a good weekend”.
