Victory and title for the R8 LMS in BelgiumBelcar: For Anthony Kumpen and Greg Franchi third place at the wheel of the W-Racing team’s Audi R8 LMS was sufficient to clinch the Belcar series championship at the season finale at Zolder. For the sixth race of the season they were supported by Swiss driver Marcel Fässler who took pole position in qualifying. Furthermore, the Audi R8 LMS celebrated its second consecutive title victory in Belgium. Victory in the wet and rainy ten-hour race which was plagued with extremely difficult track conditions went to the Belgians François Verbist and Bert Longin also from the W-Racing team.
