Tim Harvey, Ollie Jackson and David Bartrum all picked up the keys for new road-going Porsche 911s during the annual awards dinner for the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marlow on Saturday evening (27 November).
Along with cheques for over £60,000 in end-of-season prize money, the keys for brand new 911s were presented to overall champion Harvey, pro-am1 winner Jackson and Bartrum of Motorbase Performance, winner of the teams' championship. Each of the three major awards winners now has the use of the 911 for a year.
Harvey, Michael Caine and Stephen Jelley collected cheques for £15,000, £10,000 and £6000 respectively for finishing first, second and third overall in the championship.
Jackson stepped up to collect the pro-am1 title, while Jonas Gelzinis and Tony Gilham took second and third places in pro-am1 and a share of the £13,000 end of season pro-am1 prize fund.
In pro-am2, Glenn McMenamin, George Brewster and George Richardson shared £9000 in prize money. Teenager Richardson also claimed the special award for the 'most improved driver of the season' along with a further cheque for £1000.
In the teams' championship, Motorbase Performance won the top award, with Red Line Racing in second and Team Parker Racing in third. The three top teams in the championship also won £7000, £4000 and £3000 respectively. The Amlin Mechanics' Award of £3000 went to the crew at Team Parker Racing.
