POOLE stalwart Bjarne Pedersen will be looking for a new club next season after being informed that he is not in the Pirates' plans for 2011.Promoter Matt Ford described the decision to release the Dane after nine years at Wimborne Road as the toughest of his time in charge - and he has also confirmed that 2010 team members Jason Doyle and Artur Mroczka are also available for loan.Ford said: "I am sure people know just what Bjarne Pedersen means to both the club and to me personally, and therefore will recognise just how hard it was to let Bjarne know that the 2011 team cannot accommodate him."At the annual conference we confirmed the points limit of 40 and whilst under the team building rules we could have retained Bjarne, who has an eight-point average, I felt that it could have left us too top heavy."We want to go one further in 2011 and actually be crowned champions so we need to find the right balance and it is the numbers game coming into play that has forced this decision."

SOMERSET have named three new riders for their 2011 Premier League challenge - headlined by the arrival of Travis McGowan. The Australian star will take over as the Rebels' No.1 having been with Glasgow this year, whilst the other new signings are Kyle Hughes and Dakota North - with Cory Gathercole, Sam Masters, Christian Hefenbrock and James Holder all returning to the Oak Tree Arena.Promoter Debbie Hancock said: "I am really delighted with the team that we have put together for next year, and it was very well received by the fans who were there to hear the announcements, which was emphasised by the number of season tickets we sold following the conclusion of all seven riders being named."Obviously it is now quite a while for us all to wait for the start of the new season, but if the enthusiasm of the fans is anything to go by, then next March cannot come soon enough!"
