It has just been confirmed that 21-year-old Tommy Searle will be competing in the 2011 Hawkstone International meeting on the 20th March. Searle who will return to Europe next year to compete in the World Motocross Championship on the CLS Pro Circuit Kawasaki will make his first appearance on UK soil since the MX of Nations at Donington Park in 2008.
Tommy who is currently living in California before returning to the UK just before Hawkstone said "I'm looking forward to getting back out there and riding in front of the British fans, it feels like it's been a long time. I like Hawkstone so hopefully it will be a good shake down for the 2011 season and I can get a bit of a gage on the 2011 season. I'm really pleased to be coming back to Europe and getting out there and competing on the Kawasaki."
HIMX have confirmed the date of March 20th for the 2011 International Motocross. It will run slightly later than normal but the club are confident of attracting a strong line up of Grand Prix MX riders as they prepare for the forthcoming season.
Already the event has attracted the support from Hawk Plant Hire who will supply all of the machinery to get the circuit in prime condition ready for the race. In addition long term sponsor Reg Sears from RJS Builders based in Basingstoke has also agreed to continue there fantastic support of this event.
