POOLE skipper Davey Watt will be back to lead the Pirates' Elite League challenge in 2011.The Australian star agreed terms during a sponsors' evening on Friday and he joins Chris Holder, Darcy Ward and Dennis Andersson as confirmed starters at Wimborne Road.Promoter Matt Ford also announced he plans to include Russian rider Renat Gafurov, but that deal is subject to a work permit and documentation which may not be finalised until next month,Ford said: "Davey was tremendous for us last season and I am delighted that we have been able to do the deal that sees him back for another season. He will once again be at the helm as captain, a task he manages extremely well."I am absolutely certain that Davey will be able to help young Dennis settle in quickly at Poole. The pair know each other well and Dennis was riding Davey's bikes in last year's world U21 team final."

BERWICK have added two more names to their starting line-up with Kozza Smith joining the club from King's Lynn.Australian Smith makes the move to Shielfield Park as his parent club advance to the Elite League, whilst the Bandits have also confirmed the return of the popular New Zealander Jade Mudgway.Team boss Ian Rae said: "It took no more than a quick phone call, then a couple of e-mails to Sydney, and Kozza was a Bandit."Since he signed up, he's already been on the line a couple of times, eager to set up local contacts and we all know he's going to prove a massive favourite with our fans."
