Jake Nicholls To Compete in 2011 Hawkstone International

Adding to the news the other week that top British rider Tommy Searle will be competing in the 2011 Hawkstone International on 20th March 2011 is HM Plant Red Bull KTM UK rider Jake Nicholls who will also be battling it out. Other riders hoping to fully confirm soon are Max Anstie, Steven Clarke, Tom Church and Stephen Sword, they are hoping to be sorted just after Xmas.

20-year-old Jake Nicholls who finished runner up in the Maxxis British Championship in 2009 and 2010 will be hoping to kick start his international campaign with a good result at the Shropshire track in March. Jake also finished in 13th place in the World MX2 series and will be taking the Hawkstone International also good training and preparation for his World campaign in 2011.

Jake commented "I always enjoyed riding at Hawkstone, it's one of the real original race tracks in the UK and especially I like the international as it's the opener of the year as such. Great event and I'm very much looking forward to getting there and racing in March."

The event is once again set to be one of best motocross events in the UK attracting big hitting MX names from across the globe. It is a rare opportunity for all motocross fans to see their heroes in action on home soil.

Already the event has attracted the support from Hawk Plant Hire who will supply all of the machinery to get the circuit in prime condition ready for the race. In addition long term sponsor Reg Sears from RJS Builders based in Basingstoke has also agreed to continue there fantastic support of this event.
