DANISH star Charlie Gjedde will look to put his 18-month injury nightmare behind him when he rejoins Belle Vue next season.Gjedde has been declared in the Aces team having been ruled out first by a serious shoulder ligament injury, and then by a knee injury suffered in pre-season practice last March - which means he hasn't ridden a race since July 2009.Gjedde said: "I'm as fit as I think I need to be to start racing again. There is a chance I could go to New Zealand in January and, if everything can be arranged, there are six or eight meetings I could do out there which is exactly what I think I need at the moment."I've been out for one and a half seasons and getting back onto a bike would help me put that behind me. Also, the practice would put me in front of the riders who won't start racing until the start of the season."
