BERWICK have finalised their starting line-up with the signing of Czech Republic star Hynek Stichauer.23-year-old Stichauer's first appearances in the UK were with Wolverhampton in the Elite League two years ago, whilst last season he raced for Stoke in the Premier.Bandits co-owner George Hepburn said: "We didn't just want a rider who had a suitable average and met our financial plans, to fill that seventh race-jacket."We asked around, and the word coming back was always positive. This is a personable young man who is serious about doing well, an honest performer and at the same time a good club man who will always make time to speak with fans."

PREMIER League newcomers Leicester have named Richard Hall as their captain for the coming season.The Lions' recent signing from Sheffield has already carried out the role during a previous spell with Scunthorpe, and promoter David Hemsley is looking for him to help the club's less experienced riders.Hall is to be paired with Russian Ilya Bondarenko, whilst the opening pairing will be Sergey Darkin and John Oliver with Richard Sweeetman taking the No.5 position.Hemsley said: "Richard will bring experience to the middle order of the side and help his team partner through his debut season."
