KING'S Lynn have announced the signing of Filip Sitera to complete their line-up for their Elite League return this season.Czech rider Sitera joins the Stars after previous spells with Coventry and Belle Vue, and the Norfolk Arena side hope the presence of fellow countryman Tomas Topinka in the squad will be a help.Topinka said: "I have known Filip and his family for many years and I'm prepared to take him under my wing and give him all the help and advice that he needs to make a success of his career at King's Lynn."He has a lot of talent and I am sure that with some special practice sessions around his new home track he will be faster than many of the visiting riders, and with the experience he has previously gained in the league I would also say that he will have no problem holding his own away from home!"

WOLVERHAMPTON youngster Joe Haines is on target to be fit for the new season and is looking for a loan move to a Premier League club.Haines, 19, suffered multiple injuries just before Christmas in an horrific track crash in Australia, but he has already been back on a bike and expects to receive the all-clear within a fortnight.Wolves promoter Chris Van Straaten said: "He has made an amazing recovery from the serious injuries and he is back on target to be fit for the start of the UK season in March."Redcar informed him that they are not prepared to wait for him but he has already been back on a bike and is focusing very firmly on his fitness work for the new season. The fact that he is so desperate to get back racing underlines how determined he is."
