Algarve gets September event

GT Sport today announced a modification in the 2011 calendar of the European F3Open: due to calendar reasons, the event initially scheduled on 2-3 July at theNuerburgring has been replaced by a round on 17-18 September, which will take placeat the Autódromo do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal.

With this adjustment, the 2011 calendar of the European F3 Open is now confirmed(see below). With eight events in some of the most appreciated top circuits aroundEurope, the popular F3 continental series is now set for its 11th edition an to confirmits reputation as one of the most interesting F3 championships.
