YourRacingCar.com launches fans hospitality for the BTCC season

Fan funded British Touring Car outfit YourRacingCar.com are excited to be bringing fans a new opportunity this season, offering another chance for race goers to get involved with the team and help fund the small independent VW Golf entry, engineered by AmDMilltek Racing.

The YRC Hospitality Dome has been a dominant fixture trackside at the British Touring Cars and this year it’ll take on a new role – to offering affordable qualifying and race day hospitality. The menus have been chosen by a selection of YRC Members to ensure that the food available is exactly what the BTCC fans want and will vary from circuit to circuit taking advantage of seasonal nosh and regional treats. Prices start at just £35 for YRC members and £45 for non-members per day and includes food and drinks as well as somewhere to shelter whilst at the circuit.

The impressive but very friendly Dome will be a place for people to come to eat; drink; chat with other race fans and watch the action on the big screens. Breakfast will be available from the crack of dawn so those who like to set up early will have plenty of opportunity to fuel up before hitting their favourite viewing spot. Lunch will roll out straight after breakfast and offer great options to suit all tastes – from locally sourced pies to chunky pasta pots and salads. There will also be soup and hot drinks available all day.

The whole idea has been driven by the fans as YRC founder Hannah James explains “We’re really lucky in that racing fans tell us exactly what they want - all we have to do is find a way of making it work. Offering race goers a bit more comfort than they can usual get and really good food isn’t as easy as it seems but we’ve worked really hard to get the price affordable, now we just need customers to look after!”

The YRC Dome will be open to all race goers and the team is keen to encourage people to book for qualifying days too. “We’ve all got a bit more time to chat on Saturdays and with so much support championship racing on the bill, it would be great to see more people trackside to watch the BTCC qualifying. It’s cheaper to get into the circuits too so it’s a great opportunity for families to have a day out without breaking the bank” said Hannah.
