PAUL- LOUP CHATIN PASSES HIS TEST

The Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has just published  the list of drivers who have been accepted at the “ FIA Institute Young Driver Excellence Academy”.

The winner of the  “EUROFORMULA VOLANT” 2010, Paul-Loup CHATIN is one of the fortunate few, along with 11 other drivers who show great promise for international motorsport.

Over the next nine months, he will benefit from the advice, most notably of the former Formula One racing driver, Alexander WURZ, and he will take part in six workshops at different locations in Europe. All the essential aspects of a driver’s career will be covered: driving, communication, marketing, physiology, marketing, psychology, nutrition… and safety, of course.

Paul-Loup CHATIN is very aware of the opportunity he’s been given and he intends to make the most of it.“It’s fantastic to have been chosen by the FIA for this course,” says the “EUROFORMULA VOLANT” of 2010.“It’s a huge boost to my motivation and I’m going to learn as much as I can, be it in driving skills or other domains, so I can keep getting better”.

Having been in Paul-Loup’s company during the trials and in the final of the VOLANT, Laurent FRADON, Director of EUROFORMULA, is sure he will know how to make the most of it : “He’s one of the best drivers we’ve had at the EUROFORMULA school. Above all, though, he’s intelligent and knows how to listen and apply the advice he’s given to the letter. We’re happy for him.”Paul-Loup CHATIN should make his programme for this season official in the next few days.
