Stihl have extended their sponsorship of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship (BSB) for a fourth year.
In a deal agreed with BSB rights holder MotorSport Vision and likely to be worth a high five-figure sum, the power tool manufacturer will be granted a considerable branding presence at all 12 races in the 2011 calendar, with its logo appearing on trackside signage and the Stihl Giant TV screen. Stihl will also launch a range of promotional events involving riders and fans.Sean Larter-Conway, who is marketing manager of Stihl GB, said: "Our association sets Stihl firmly in the arena of 'Ultimate Outdoor Power', and delivers a very positive message for our audience of professional and domestic power tool users.
