Hugh Hunter and his co-driver Robin Kellard scored maximum Hankook MSA Welsh National Rally Championship points on the season-opening Team GMF Wyedean Forest Rally.
Hunter was quickest out of the blocks and remained in contention for the rally win until swiping a bank and losing 27 seconds on SS5. He eventually came home third over behind Paul Bird and event victor Andrew Burton.
Defending champion Alex Allingham got off to a steady start but improved during the afternoon to finish second in Group N and fifth amonth the championship contenders.
