SWINDON have completed their team-building with the signing of club asset Tomasz Chrzanowski who returns for a second spell with the Robins.The Pole was part of the Blunsdon set-up in 2006-07, and the Robins have also confirmed Glasgow's young Australian Josh Grajczonek in a doubling-up berth alongside Cory Gathercole.Swindon boss Ronnie Russell said: "I have had very little contact with Tom in the past but having asked around I hear only good things about him. Gary (Patchett) tells me he was very popular with the supporters before and is very keen to return to Swindon."It is good to see that we have been able to use one of our own assets to fill what is clearly a very important place in the team. Tomasz comes into the team on a starting average of 6.12 but I will consult with all the members of the team and the captain before we decide what the racing order will be."

NEWPORT have announced a new team sponsorship deal with Mike Manning Audio of Yeovil.Manning, a former fan of the Hackney Hawks, has previously sponsored the Wasps' Premier League rivals Somerset.Co-promoter Nick Mallett said: "'We are delighted to become the Newport 'Mike Manning Audio' Wasps and receive financial backing from such a knowledgeable sponsor as Mike."It is very good news for the club and puts us in the right frame of mind for the season ahead."

THE newly-formed Hackney Hawks, who will race National League fixtures at Rye House and Lakeside, have submitted their proposed line-up to the BSPA.2003 League Riders' Champion Barrie Evans will head the team, and there is further experience provided by 2001 champion David Mason.Teenagers Marc Owen and Ben Morley both return from last year's Rye House Cobras line-up, and they are joined by Ben Hopwood, on a full transfer from the Isle of Wight, and Shane Hazelden.Completing the roster is the reigning British Under-15 Champion Brandon Freemantle, who joins the Hawks in a training agreement with Eastbourne.

GARETH Isherwood has become the fourth member of the new look Stoke set-up for the 2011 National League season.Isherwood, 22, comes in on a 5.12 average and joins Tony Atkin, Simon Lambert and Tim Webster as confirmed starters for the new campaign which begins in March.Potters promoter Dave Tattum said: "I really do feel we owe Gareth a place in the line-up, he has stuck by the club and wants to ride for Stoke."He had a successful couple of seasons at Buxton where he won the Rider of the Year and was captain for them the following season, and I feel he can quite comfortably attain his average. We feel he is capable of putting a point or so on his starting average."
