After a week of watching the weather forecasts and deciding which would be the best venue for round one of the Rideoffroaduk Doodson Motorsport Championship, we are pleased to announce that the superb all weather facility at Ellington Banks near Ripon in North Yorkshire will be the host for the day's action.

Hard Standing Concrete paddock, pressure washing facilities, and a blank canvas for the Rideoffroaduk crew to work their usual magic on, are amongst the features which allowed us to make this decision. The planned venue which was going to be used in Lincolnshire, unfortunately couldn't be rubber stamped in time for round one but will be used later in the Championship season.

Sunday early will see a one hour Youth Event, followed by the trademarked Sportsman, Sportsman Beginner, Ladies and Over50 classes for the largest part of our entrants. At 1pm the Expert, Over 40 and Clubman protagonists will do battle for 2.5 hours on the new technical course planned by Wayne Braybrook.

Entries are filling fast, and with no access problems Ellington will be a hassle free, clean place to ride. The track will be ride able for all abilities from Novice to Expert. Gates Open 6.30am Sunday.
