BIRMINGHAM newcomer Ales Dryml is keen to make the most of a fresh opportunity in the Elite League at Perry Barr this season.Dryml's father, Ales senior, was a popular figure at the club's previous stadium in the early 80s, and his son is looking to make his latest move a success.He said: "I've raced for many clubs in England now, and I must say I am very pleased to be fixed up with a fine club like Birmingham."I have heard it's a good track and one which many riders enjoy. I am looking forward to making it my home track. I am looking forward to practice day and hopefully I can get some good laps in before our first meeting."

SCUNTHORPE have agreed an extension to their long-running team sponsorship deal with Henderson Insurance.The local company will be backing the Scorpions for a fifth successive season and also sponsor Superbikes star James Toseland, and the Leeds Rhinos Rugby League club.Promoter Rob Godfrey said: "It's fantastic news for us that a company like Hendersons want to put their name to what we are doing here."They employ over 300 people at twelve sites and always seem to be expanding. Mr Henderson is a speedway fan, and whilst he doesn't get down to watch us as often as he would like, I know he is proud to be associated with us and we've very proud to carry the Henderson Insurance name."
