DUDLEY Heathens have completed their team building for the new season with a familiar face and a new signing.Coventry-based Richard Franklin makes a return to the club for their second season in the National League and is joined by new signing Luke Chessell, who will join Darryl Ritchings in the reserve department for the former Cradley club.Manager Will Pottinger said: "We had to lose over 8.50 points from our team that ended last season to come under the new 40 point limit for this season, but we're happy with the team we've put together."We've tried to keep as many of last year's side together as possible and we've hoping that the return of Armo (Jon Armstrong) and all his experience, will help our young side towards the end of season play offs."

STOKE are one rider away from completing their line-up after confirming the signing of Jaimie Pickard.The 21-year-old had a previous spell with the club in 2007 but has generally ridden for Plymouth during his career at National League level, and he joins the Potters on a 4.24 average.Promoter Dave Tattum said: "Jaimie has progressed well over the past couple of seasons and improved his average last season significantly, and we believe he is quite capable of doing the same in the new season."We now have only one place to fill in order to complete the line-up and we hope to be in a position to announce the final rider sooner rather than later."
