Facu Regalia signed with Team Ghinzani and will take part in the Formula 3 Italia Championship in 2011. Tomorrow he will start the preparation of the new season with a test at Adria.

This Italian championship it’s one of the most important single-seater series in Europe with strong fields and very competitive teams and it was chosen by the Spanish-Argentinean driver to proceed his racing career. The nineteen years old driver will debut in a Formula 3 championship and believes that the squad leaded by the former Formula 1 driver, Piercarlo Ghinzani, was his best option to be a competitive force in the 2011 season. “I’m very excited with this opportunity and to be able to work with Team Ghinzani. The tests that we did together went very well and I’m confident that the team will give me all the conditions to explore my potential. As always, I’ll give my best in every moment and I feel that we can achieve good results. We are looking forward to start working together”, said Facu Regalia.

After months far from a racing car, Facu Regalia will return to action this Thursday. The Spanish-Argentinean youngster will be at Adria, for a test with the Team Ghinzani’s Dallara FPT. “I’m looking forward to be in the car again. I’ve been working hard in the last few weeks so I can tackle the new season in the best possible way”, said the nineteen years old driver. During the test he has as goal “to evolve the car, developing myself as a driver and starting to pick up the racing rhythm, after such a long period without driving”, underlined the Spanish-Argentinean driver.
