Round 4: Jim Clark International Rally, 27-28 May
David Bogie and Kevin Rae scored their third victory of the year on the Jim Clark International Rally.
Bogie’s win was not always a foregone conclusion, as the Skodas of Robert Barrable and Jonny Greer set the early pace. Barrable’s advantage was short-lived due to an expired alternator on SS3, leaving Team UK graduate Adam Gould and current national squad member Seb Marshall to take the lead.
However, Bogie wasn’t about to let Gould have it his own way and by the overnight halt he had taken the lead. By clipping a bank on the opening stage of day two, Gould left the door open for Bogie to pull clear for the win.
